I graduated California College of the Arts (May 2020) studying Animation, with a focus on 3D Art and Modeling, and a minor in Writing and Literature.
I love to create characters and have a passion for making art catered to a young audience. Imagination is limitless while working with happy, fun, and colorful characters. My dream is to work at a kids' studio and make art that matters to bring comfort and joy to others. I want to make and work on colorful characters and worlds that a kid will resonate with. So future generations may feel comfort and joy and love who they are by seeing a character or show that I was a part of making that helps kids feel seen in a way they thought made them feel too weird or isolated before; therefore, normalizing it for everyone else watching. Because I believe we are all weird and unique in our own way, and that is great.
Sculpting a female super hero with traditional clay sparked my interest in modeling. From then on, I transitioned to using ZBrush, Maya, and Blender. For my senior film, I decided to make five characters for my film to showcase and challenge my skills as a modeler and texture artist.
In my free time, I love to crochet dolls of my favorite characters. I also read a lot, so I always have a fiction book or comic with me wherever I go.
